Terry McGivern
Terry McGivernDirector
Terry leads on Community Works’ strategic direction and operational delivery, as well as planning and securing the funded project programme that supports our activities. He is closely involved in delivery of the current “Eastern New Energy” & “South East New Energy” programmes as well as other Energy and Housing/Built Environment projects in preparation (see Projects section).

Alex Templeton
Alex TempletonDirector of Development
Alex plays a key role in our Eastern New Energy (ENE) & South East New Energy (SENE) projects involving both strategic development as well as operational responsibilities – including developing and integrating local energy strategy into the ENE & SENE programmes; identifying and supporting local renewable energy projects; assessing and supporting the business and technology innovation needs of local businesses.
He also takes the lead on Technology and Business Process Innovation both in individual projects as well as the overall company strategy and programme.

Harvey McGivern
Harvey McGivernSenior Project Manager
Harvey supports with Community Works’ overall delivery and compliance for the South East New Energy project – including project setup, marketing, SME support and developing effective relationships with the other Delivery Partners.

John Ainslie
John AinslieInnovation & Research Manager
John is closely and actively involved in the Eastern New Energy project. He is particularly focused on providing specialist innovation and research support to local SMEs; and for developing the “Innovation Clusters” that allow us to gather and share innovative knowledge for the benefit of local business and the economy.

John’s background includes working on innovation and research projects with the Institute for Sustainability (including ERDF and Interreg low carbon projects), researching and supporting SME innovators in the low carbon construction and other LCEGS sectors, and more recently innovation research in the smart/digital energy sector.

Sue McGivern
Sue McGivernFinance & Administration
Sue ensures Community Works’ accounts and administration functions are in order and manages project and company finances. She provides administrative support to, and works closely with, the team to ensure efficient, compliant project delivery.
